Seto Ware Five-ringed Stupa Shaped Vase
SOLD OUTA vase consisted of four Ko-Seto ware sherds from the 15th century. It was jointed stacking the two torsos of the same type of a Buddhist vase on the one missing neck and a spout attached to the tip. Every part is inferred to be excavated from the same kiln sight and show almost the same light green colour. Its shape imitates the Gorinto (“five-ringed stupa”), and it is completely different from the original form but without missing the character of the Buddhist vase.
Come with a glass cylinder.
