Yuan Dynasty White Glazed Small Dish
SOLD OUTWhite-glazed small dish fired in a kiln around Henan Province in the Yuan dynasty. It is inferred to be produced with a general Jun ware kiln that is from the inward-rim shape, the interior ring line, and the exposed base and also since the Jun ware’s bluish Moon-white glaze becomes whitish with oxidation firing. This piece is possibly applied the same glaze with Moon-white glaze but with a different outcome. Its surface is filled with rich glazing like melted wax, and the fine crackle glaze makes the texture more attractive.
There are minor glaze flakings on the inner rim, but there were no other noticeable defects, and the condition is good. A part looks like a hairline doesn’t pass through the exterior. Come with a box.
