Sukhothai Dynasty Sawankhalok Ware Straw Ash Glazed BottleSOLD OUT
A bottle fired in the Sawankhalok during the Sukhothai dynasty. It has a cup-shaped mouth often seen in Korean ceramic, and a pale blue cloudy glaze applied until the side of the base. In the same area, such straw ash glaze is usually found from tiles of archaeological sites, and there are few examples applied on the vessel. It’s an ideal size as Tokkuri to drink.
There are no noticeable defects other than one spot of recolouring on the body, and there is no internal dirt or oily odour.
