Sukhothai Kingdom Sawankhalok Ware Opaque Glazed Bottle

A bottle fired in the Sawankhalok during the end of Sukhothai kingdom to Ayutthaya kingdom. It has a cup-shaped mouth and a pale blue cloudy glaze applied until the side of the base. In the same area, bluish opaque glazed examples are usually found from tiles of archaeological sites, and there are few examples applied on the vessel. It’s an ideal size as tokkuri.

There are no noticeable defects other than one spot of recolouring on the body, and there is no internal dirt or oily odour.
