An exquisite white porcelain plate was fired during the early Joseon dynasty and originated from the renowned Bunwon kiln, the official kiln established in Gwangju. Displaying remarkable craftsmanship, the plate features a refined vessel shape with a subtle distortion, and its sturdy foot design draws inspiration from metallic vessels of the era. The carefully applied glaze adorns the plate with a delightful loquat colour, imbuing the sharp form with a sense of warmth.

The base is slightly distorted. There is a short hairline extending from the rim and a Kintsugi restore on the back of the rim, as well as minor cracks and chips.
