Sukhothai Kingdom Sawankhalok Celadon Cup with Fluted Pattern
ARCHIVED
A Sawankhalok ware celadon cup fired at the Si Satchanalai kilns during the Sukhothai period. It has an outward body with fluted lines, with lotus petals and multiple ring lines engraved on the interior. The emerald green glaze is particularly striking, with the interior showcasing an exceptionally rich and vibrant hue. Each carefully sculpted flute lends the cup a dynamic yet understated elegance, embodying rusticity.
