Goryeo Celadon Jar

A celadon jar fired during the Goryeo dynasty. It has a stable shape and a wide mouth that is a rare type in the Goryeo celadon vessel. Jars with similar characteristics with this piece were found in a shipwreck near Taean County, estimated from the end of the 12th century to the beginning of the 13th century. It is attractive for its rural and powerful work, which resembles the Nanban-style works.

There are some stains on the low-fired part. Other than firing damage, there are no noticeable defects. It comes with a box.
