Goryeo Celadon Cup
ARCHIVEDA celadon cup fired in Gangjin or Buan during the Goryeo period. The celadon glaze is applied entirely, including an indented part on the rim. The tea-drinking culture was introduced along with Buddhism flourished in the Goryeo era, and many tea utensils such as bowls were made. This kind of cup is the cup that imitated Song porcelain and was used with a cup stand for tea ceremonies and rituals.
There is a short hairline on the rim, kiln scratches, and grits attached to the base, but there are no other noticeable defects. There is some wobbling due to the spur marks on the bottom.
