Joseon Dynasty Celadon Dish
ARCHIVEDA celadon dish fired in the early Joseon dynasty. The morning glory-shaped vessel opens gently and is coated with a transparent celadon glaze. The area around the foot is exposed, and three spurmarks are left at the well. This piece is an example of the transitional period from Goryeo celadon to Buncheong ware, and similar pot shards have been excavated from kiln sights in Jeollanam-do, the main production area for Goryeo celadon. It is thought that it was used for a long time after it was excavated, and its skin has a deep lustre.
There are three hairlines extending from the rim, but other than that, there are no noticeable flaws. It comes with a box.
