Joseon Dynasty Gimhae Katade Type Dish

ARCHIVED

A Katade-type dish fired around Gimhae during the Joseon Dynasty. It has a neat shape without distortion, and the glaze is applied to the entire body, including the bottom of the foot. This piece is a relatively high-quality piece among this type of coarse porcelain, as indicated by no spur marks on either the front face or the base. The lustrous glaze peculiar to Gimhae and the elegant fine craquelure is stunning. And the glaze drip on the back side is also a good point.

There are glaze flakings and minor chips on the rim but no other noticeable defects. Come with a box.
