Taishu Ware Gen-etsu Gohon Type Teabowl
ARCHIVED
A Korai-chawan fired in the Busan kiln under the control of the Tsushima feudal clan, or in the Tsushima kiln, which is the successor of it. A design is a type of the “Gen-etsu Gohon” with a spatula carving from the side of the base to the vicinity of the rim. It forms a cedar shape using coarse clay, and a sharp “Nail-carved foot”. Contrary to the extensive appearance, the wall is thin and delicate.
There are no noticeable defects other than minor scratches, and Kintsugi repairs on the mouth. Come with a box.
